The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Trophy Room Away was created in collaboration between Jordan Brand and Trophy Room, a boutique founded by Marcus Jordan. The design draws inspiration from Michael Jordan’s trading cards and the season in which he began his NBA career. Rather than drastically redesigning the AJ1 Low OG silhouette, the designers focused on materials, embroidery, and details that directly reference Michael Jordan’s history.The colorway - Sail, Black, Varsity Red, and Muslin - features a light-colored upper accented with vibrant red and black. The red sections stand out with a satin finish that contrasts with the more matte surfaces of the other panels. The black Swoosh is embroidered, giving it a distinct texture that stands out against the cream background.The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Trophy Room Away retains the low-profile design of the classic AJ1 with a perforated toe box, traditional lacing system, and padded collar. The construction utilizes materials with varying textures, and the greater number of decorative finishes makes the individual parts of the upper more distinct than in standard Air Jordan 1 Low OG versions. The sole features hidden Air cushioning and the rubber outsole characteristic of this line.The most personal elements of the collaboration are found on the back of the shoe. Michael Jordan’s signature is embroidered on the outer side of the heel, while the design is complemented by a tonal “Trophy Room” label and a shimmering Wings logo. These details directly link the design to Michael Jordan himself and the collectible theme behind the entire release.In the Trophy Room Away, the classic silhouette of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG remains easily recognizable, but the way it’s finished is much more elaborate. Satin red, an embroidered Swoosh, Michael Jordan’s signature, and special Trophy Room markings create a design based more on details and history than on altering the model’s basic proportions.
