The Air Jordan 4 RM Nigel Sylvester Pro Green was created through a collaboration between Jordan Brand and BMX rider Nigel Sylvester and features a new take on the Air Jordan 4 design. The RM version retains several of the original’s most distinctive features but features a lower profile and a redesigned construction of the side panels and sole. Sylvester’s design also references his long-standing relationship with BMX bikes and the signs of wear that naturally appear on the shoes while riding.The Pro Green colorway is based on several shades of green paired with black and cream-colored sole elements. The upper has a muted, slightly raw look, and the contrasts between the green panels highlight the model’s layered construction. The black section surrounding the heel and sides creates a sturdier frame around the upper, while the lighter-colored sole softens the overall composition.The Air Jordan 4 RM Nigel Sylvester Pro Green utilizes a combination of suede, leather, and synthetic materials. The most distinctive design element is the elaborate wrap-around panel covering the sides and heel, which replaces some of the classic features found on the Air Jordan 4. The suede surface gives the upper a distinct texture, and the low, padded collar alters the shoe’s proportions compared to the traditional AJ4. The classic lacing system remains positioned between the side reinforcements.The sole retains the visible Nike Air unit under the heel, though its shape has been adapted to the RM’s lower profile. The rubber outsole features a deep tread pattern and a wide contact surface with the ground. The design also includes special markings associated with Nigel Sylvester and the Bike Air logo, a signature element of his collaboration with Jordan Brand.The Pro Green stands out from standard Air Jordan 4s primarily due to its lower profile, modified lateral reinforcement system, and material finish.
