The Nike Air Max Plus Swarovski Sunset combines the model’s signature wavy design with an elaborate finish created in collaboration with Swarovski. The silhouette retains a sleek front, pronounced side reinforcements, and a chunky outsole with visible cushioning, but the biggest change is the use of crystals on the upper. The Sunset theme builds on one of the Air Max Plus’s most recognizable aesthetics, based on a transition from red through orange to golden tones.The color scheme—Black, Fire Red, Pimento, Bright Ceramic, and Saturn Gold—creates a gradient reminiscent of a sunset. Black covers the lower sections of the upper, part of the sole, and the wavy structural elements, while warmer hues appear higher up and transition from red to orange and gold. Swarovski crystals are arranged across the upper and within the signature TPU reinforcements, causing the surface to shift in appearance depending on the angle of the light.The Nike Air Max Plus Swarovski Sunset features a textile base complemented by rubber elements, synthetic reinforcements, and a dark finish around the lower part of the upper. Wavy overlays stabilize the sides while also serving as a base for the decorative crystals. The design is rounded out by a small Swoosh logo on the sides, “Tn Air” branding on the heel, and a padded tongue and collar.The sole features the Tuned Air system with visible units under the forefoot and heel. A foam base provides cushioning, while a central TPU element supports stability while walking. The rubber outsole enhances traction and protects the bottom of the shoe from wear and tear.The Nike Air Max Plus Swarovski Sunset stands out primarily for its combination of gradient colorways and densely arranged crystals.
