Dunk Low Off-White Pine Green

The Nike Dunk Low Off-White Pine Green is a reinterpretation of the classic 1985 Dunk silhouette, created in collaboration with Off-White and Virgil Abloh. The design is based on the well-known basketball silhouette but has been transformed by the addition of more experimental elements. The proportions of the Dunk Low model have been retained, while introducing solutions that alter its visual and functional appeal.The upper combines a vibrant shade of Pine Green with a white base, creating a distinct contrast between the panels. Green overlays cover the front, lacing system, and rear, while white surfaces visually stabilize the whole. A distinctive feature is the additional orange laces threaded through a second lacing system, which introduce a technical accent and break up the classic color scheme.The construction is based on a combination of natural leather and synthetic materials, which create a layered upper structure. Leather panels provide stiffness and durability, while textile elements within the tongue enhance comfort. The visible foam on the tongue and raw-edged finishes align with Off-White’s signature approach to deconstructing form.The sole features the classic Dunk construction, based on foam and a rubber outsole that provides traction. The low-profile design ensures a stable fit, and the sole configuration remains true to the model’s original purpose as a basketball shoe, later adapted for everyday use.The most recognizable element of this variant are the details characteristic of the collaboration with Off-White. A typographic print is placed on the side panel, and the whole is complemented by a plastic tag and additional lacing systems. Visible stitching, exposed foam, and a layered construction create the effect of an unfinished form, which has become a hallmark of Virgil Abloh’s designs.
