4 Retro Light Army

The Air Jordan 4 Retro Light Army is a new colorway of the classic AJ4 silhouette, featuring subdued, military-inspired shades of green and gray. The model does not replicate an archival release from Michael Jordan’s playing days, but rather offers a contemporary interpretation of the fourth generation, based on a palette of Light Army, Light Silver, Cargo Khaki, and Phantom. The upper is primarily crafted from soft nubuck in the olive-hued Light Army shade. The same color also appears on the signature side wings, giving the upper a cohesive, tonal look. Light gray mesh elements and lace eyelets break up the dominant green and more strongly emphasize the classic Air Jordan 4 panel layout. The design retains the most recognizable elements of the AJ4, including the side mesh panels, the plastic lacing system wings, the high tongue, and the signature heel section featuring the Jumpman logo. Darker accents appear on parts of the sole and the tongue markings, while the lighter collar adds an extra layer of color to the overall look. The sole retains the chunky silhouette typical of the Air Jordan 4 and features a visible Air cushion in the rear. The combination of Cargo Khaki, black, and lighter accents harmonizes well with the olive upper, giving the shoe an earthy, technical aesthetic without the need for stark contrasts.
