New Balance 204L Silver Metallic Sage Green is a refreshing addition to the new 204L line, which was announced as part of the “Silver Metallic” package for the fall 2025 season. It stands out with its combination of metallic silver and subtle sage green, giving it a modern yet subdued character.The upper of the 204L consists of multiple panels: a lightweight mesh base and metallic and suede overlays that create a structural layered effect. The gray/silver motif dominates most of the surface, with sage accents appearing on the “N” logo, side stitching, and branding details for a subtle contrast. The 204L draws inspiration from running sneakers from the late 70s and early 80s, but in a new, slimmed-down form - it has a lower sole and a lighter silhouette that fits in with the “flat shoes” trend. The distinctive arched stitching and streamlined lines make the silhouette appear dynamic despite its moderate thickness. Underfoot, there is an EVA insole and a rubber sole with a tread pattern that combines influences from the 1970s (tread shape) with a “strike path” motif straight out of the 2000s.
