Union LA is responsible for the layered construction and visible stitching, while Fragment Design introduces minimalist branding and its signature double-lightning bolt symbol. The classic proportions of the Air Jordan 1 High remain recognizable, but the way the panels are joined clearly sets this version apart from standard editions of the model.The upper features a contrasting combination of white and black. Light-colored leather covers the forefoot, the perforated toe box, and the side panels, forming the base for darker overlays. Black appears around the lacing, on the Swoosh logo, the collar, and the heel. The two-tone design highlights the structural divisions, the sharp lines of the panels, and the high-cut design around the ankle. The midsole features a slightly distressed finish that contrasts with the black rubber underneath.The upper of the Air Jordan 1 Fragment x Union LA is crafted from leather with varied textures. Overlapping sections of material create an additional layer around the collar, and the visible stitching has been left as part of the design. Perforations on the forefoot promote airflow, while the padded collar and tongue reduce pressure around the foot. Classic lacing allows you to adjust the fit along the entire height of the upper.The midsole features a sealed Nike Air unit that provides cushioning.
