The design builds on a concept inspired by the iconic Speedmaster Moonwatch, but this version emphasizes an all-black color scheme and a moon phase complication. The model retains the proportions of the classic Speedmaster used during NASA space missions, while developing the design in a more modern and experimental direction. The NEW MOON variant stands out for having the most monochromatic finish among the Moonphase models.The design is almost entirely black. The case, crown, pushers, and strap feature a dark matte finish that emphasizes the model’s more technical character. The dial features sub-dials inspired by the classic Speedmaster layout, while one of the design’s main elements remains the moon phase indicator at the 2 o’clock position. Hidden against the dark background of the complication are two moons coated with Super LumiNova, which become visible after dark. The monochromatic color scheme combined with contrasting markings gives the design a more austere and futuristic character than standard MoonSwatch models.The case is made of bioceramic, which ensures low weight and a smooth matte finish. The model has a diameter of 42 mm and a case thickness of approximately 13.75 mm.
