The model is dedicated to Pikachu and is part of a larger capsule collection in which specific adidas silhouettes have been reimagined with designs inspired by selected Pokémon. The release is scheduled for September 22, 2026. The colorway - Yellow, Yellow, and Core Black - directly references Pikachu’s appearance. A vibrant yellow covers nearly the entire upper, making the model stand out immediately from classic Superstar releases. Black appears on select details and contrasts with the light base, highlighting elements associated with the character and the shoe’s classic construction. The most distinctive features are the details designed specifically for this version. The heel features elements depicting Pikachu’s face, and the tongue has been enhanced with soft, three-dimensional ears. The entire shoe is crafted from plush-finished suede, which further reinforces the direct reference to the character itself.
