The Swatch OTG ROZ SSX03J100N watch was created as part of the Royal Pop collection, developed jointly by Swatch and Audemars Piguet. The design is based on the distinctive proportions of the Royal Oak, but the overall look takes on a more experimental form inspired by Swatch’s archival POP line. The design allows the model to be used both as a classic wristwatch and as a pocket watch or an accessory that can be clipped onto clothing and accessories. The collection itself focuses on reinterpreting luxury watchmaking in a more casual and modular form.The OTG ROZ model features a light pink color scheme paired with bolder accents in shades of magenta and red. The most distinctive element remains the octagonal bezel made of bioceramic, whose proportions directly reference the Royal Oak’s design. Eight hexagonal screws in a contrasting color are set on the surface, while the dial features a geometric structure inspired by the “Tapisserie” pattern. The watch makes a more graphic and pop-art impression than classic Swiss models, mainly thanks to its intense colors and the stark contrasts between the case, dial, and strap.The design utilizes bioceramic, which accounts for the watch’s light weight and matte finish. The front and back are protected by sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. The set also includes a leather lanyard strap made of calfskin with contrasting stitching. When mounted in a special holder, the watch takes on the elongated proportions characteristic of pocket watches and models designed to be clipped onto clothing. The case diameter is approximately 40 mm.Powering the watch is the SISTEM51 manual-winding movement with a power reserve of approximately 90 hours. The movement also features an anti-magnetic Nivachron hairspring, which improves resistance to magnetic fields. The transparent case back allows a view of part of the movement’s construction and graphics designed specifically for the Royal Pop collection. The hands and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova, which emits a blue glow after dark.The Royal Pop collection was created as a fusion of archival Swatch POP designs with the aesthetics of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.
