The Nike Mind 002 AMP Black and Indigo Burst builds on the concept of the innovative Nike Mind line, created by the Nike Mind Science Department. Unlike the mule-style Mind 001, the Mind 002 features a full upper reminiscent of classic sneakers, while retaining the technology for sensory foot stimulation. The design was developed to prepare the body for physical activity and improve movement awareness during everyday use. The Black and Indigo Burst colorway is scheduled to launch in July 2026.The colorway combines shades of Black, Indigo Burst, Hyper Punch, and Metallic Platinum. The black upper serves as a base for multicolored accents that appear around the collar and lacing system in the form of a smooth gradient transitioning from purple to vivid pink. Contrasting red accents on the sole and blue elements at the heel and toe give the design a futuristic look. The metallic Swoosh logo subtly breaks up the matte finish of the entire design.The upper is made of lightweight knit fabric with precisely placed perforations to improve ventilation. A distinctive feature of the model is a special insole made of stretchy fabric, which allows the movable tabs positioned under the foot to function without compromising comfort.The most important technology in the Nike Mind 002 AMP is a system of 22 movable protrusions developed by the Nike Mind Science Department. While walking, these elements move up and down, applying pressure to specific points on the sole of the foot. According to research conducted by Nike, this solution activates the sensory areas of the brain responsible for perceiving stimuli, helping to maintain focus and increase awareness of the surroundings.
